concealment for coastal and subtropical landscape: North Africa, Middle East, Asia and the American continent
It’s a structure that hides its technological functionality by concealing it behind the natural appearance of a Date palm. The bark and foliage resemble the Phoenix Dactylifera species, imitating the natural detail and the fruit. This allows the successful integration in many natural contexts such us coastal and subtropical landscape: North Africa, Middle East, Asia and the American continent.
UP TO 40 m
UP TO 6
UP TO 4 Ø max 60cm
UP TO 3 TLC operators
The trunk is made of a hot galvanized steel truncated pyramid shaped pole made up of several segments depending upon the overall height of the structure, which can vary from 15 to 40 metres. The base of the Date palm has a cable output and inspection hole for maintenance operations. The bark covering the trunk is made of composite materials that are resistant to UVA rays and weather. The foliage is made up of palms in radio-transparent plastic materials that completely and naturally hide the antennas and accessories. The palm branches are equipped with a special fall prevention system. A special option allows installation of another level of antennas on the trunk, which are then hidden under special branches with additional palms.
HIGHEST QUALITY MATERIALS
The shape of the foliage, details of the branches, and the appearance of the bark are surprisingly realistic and maintain their mechanical characteristics and colour over time. All plastics are resistant to UVA rays and weather in the most extreme climate conditions.
BRANCH FALL PREVENTION SYSTEM
An innovative support system minimizes the possibility of broken branches and, if broken, prevents them from falling and causing injury to people or damage to things.
To facilitate maintenance operations, the Date palm is also available in a version with an internal ladder that allows easy access to the antennas at the top.
All plastic materials used in the branches are certified and attenuate the radio signal below 1 dB.
SITE SHARING CONFIGURATION
The structure can hold up to three TLC operators, completely hiding the antennas and dishes below the foliage. For the third operator is expected the installation of special additional palms.
Many components can be built into the structure: video surveillance cameras, safety systems, etc.
