On May 17, 2024, Massimo Calzavara, CEO of Calzavara Spa, took part in a seminar organized by Confindustria Udine’s Young Entrepreneurs Group, titled: “Sustainability Reporting: The New CSRD Regulation and Future Outlooks”.
Hosted at Confindustria Udine’s headquarters, the seminar explored the key features of the new Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), which is reshaping how European companies must report their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance.
Calzavara’s Perspective: during his talk, Massimo Calzavara shared how the company has integrated sustainability into its industrial strategy, emphasizing that the shift toward transparent and responsible business models is an opportunity—not just a regulatory requirement.
“The sustainability report allows us to tell our story—who we are, what we do, and what kind of impact we want to generate in our community. Today, a company’s value is no longer measured solely in financial terms, but also in its ability to foster environmental and social wellbeing,” said Calzavara.
The event gathered institutional representatives, ESG experts, and business leaders from across the Friuli Venezia Giulia region—demonstrating the growing interest in sustainability across all generations of entrepreneurs.
