These special trucks have been designed to be fully equipped with a container for the radio equipment and with a self-erecting and telescopic pole. They are COT – cell on truck – fully operational within only three hours.
Cell station kits
These cell stations have been designed as integrated radio stations, pre-configured to contain all the station infrastructures, assembly accessories, antennas, storage batteries, electrical and radio equipment, during transportation. They have been designed to be transported by truck and installed using a crane in one day.

Cell tower upgrade and retrofit
With extensive experience in telecommunications infrastructure, calzavara provides quality maintenance and inspection services to ensure site upgrade and retrofit:
- static pre-analysis of the structure to verify the extent of the reinforcement and to quantify an economic quotation to the client;
- geometric survey of the actual state (structure and antennas);
- non destructive tests on site for mechanical characterization of the materials;
- tests for the geological characterization of the terrain and drafting of the geological report;
- drafting executive project of reinforcement;
- installation of reinforcement according to the project drawings;
- installation of the new antennas/device.

Customer: 118 FVG
In 1991 calzavara designed and installed the PMR network for mission-critical applications of 118 FVG, the FVG emergency health service. Coverage: 7,000 km2. In 2016 calzavara, with TIM and Leonardo, designed and installed the update: a digital network with 34 base stations. From 1991 to today, calzavara has been managing the maintenance of the entire 118 FVG network.

In 2010 calzavara, with SES Astra, designed and installed the monitoring network for the production of plants powered by renewable sources (photovoltaic, wind, hydroelectric, biomass). The network consists of 4150 monitoring points and data communication is done via satellite link.

In 2016 calzavara, together with Maddalena SpA, designed and implemented the network of sensors and gateways with LoRaWAN protocol for monitoring water meters – IoT network (LPWAN) monitoring more than 500 water meters.
