Integrated Quality, Environment, Health, and Safety Manual.

Calzavara operates in both national and international markets, providing professional solutions ranging from turnkey projects to the supply of products and services.

Calzavara is active across various sectors, including telecommunications, oil & gas, lighting (Clampco Sistemi brand), and security (Beeup brand), within a dynamic and diversified context.

In alignment with risk-based thinking, the company aims to analyze factors that could diverge its processes and the Integrated Management System for Quality, Environment, Health, and Workplace Safety from the planned outcomes. Preventive controls are implemented to minimize negative impacts and maximize opportunities.

The Management of Calzavara considers quality and customer satisfaction, environmental performance improvements, and health and safety in the workplace as primary success factors for the company’s mission.

To achieve these goals, the company has established its Integrated Management System in compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards, and a welding process management system in accordance with EN ISO 3834-2. These are applied to the products and services provided, as well as all company activities, with attention to the following strategic objectives:

  1. Operate in compliance with customer requirements, applicable regulations, and legislative requirements, while continuously enhancing the effectiveness of the Integrated Management System and all company processes;
  2. Foster the professional growth of its employees;
  3. Disseminate the principles and operational procedures defined by the Integrated Management System throughout all personnel;
  4. Train personnel to identify, report, and minimize risks and potential workplace injuries or occupational illnesses associated with company activities, fostering a culture of awareness at all levels;
  5. Train personnel to recognize and reduce environmental impacts from company activities and to prevent pollution, promoting an ingrained sense of environmental responsibility;
  6. Where feasible, pursue the reduction of production waste, generated waste, and energy consumption, in ongoing activities and new products or processes;
  7. Engage suppliers to ensure that entrusted activities are conducted with high quality and in compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards;
  8. During the design, acquisition, installation, and commissioning of new production equipment and/or facilities, ensure compliance with prevailing legal prevention regulations, the latest technical standards (e.g., CEI, UNI), and product directives;
  9. Conduct a preliminary assessment of all risks to human health and the environment arising from the introduction of new work activities, technologies, special equipment, production processes, and chemical products;
  10. Design and implement any modifications or new activities considering environmental interactions, the territorial context, and health and safety aspects, to monitor and minimize these impacts;
  11. Ensure, in the use of production equipment and management of plants and special equipment:
    • a. The maintenance of safe working conditions and safety levels over time, with continuous updates in line with regulatory and technological advancements;
    • b. Proper use of equipment through continuous information dissemination, training, and oversight of workers by supervisors, with disciplinary measures taken if necessary for non-compliance;
  12. Guarantee the execution of preventive and periodic health checks as required by law for employees exposed to specific risks, under the supervision of the appointed occupational physician;
  13. Ensure the provision and proper use of personal protective equipment where necessary;
  14. Protect company assets from fire risk through appropriate preventive action on technical and human factors, the organization and training of emergency response teams, and the establishment of company procedures required by law for emergencies (first aid, firefighting, evacuation);
  15. Optimize natural resource use through rational and efficient use of energy resources, raw materials, and the adoption of the best available technologies that are economically feasible;
  16. Ensure systematic evaluation of quality, environmental, and health and safety performance through a monitoring system that supports continuous improvement actions;
  17. Promote the improvement of quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety performance.

To achieve these objectives, all personnel at Calzavara, each within their respective roles, are called upon to participate in understanding, implementing, and improving activities by following the guidelines of the Integrated Manual, procedures, and instructions.

To support this commitment, necessary resources are provided.

Each employee is jointly responsible for the proper implementation of the Integrated Management System, upholding motivation and a sense of responsibility in their work.
