The concept of sustainability has made great strides in the last few years in all industrial sectors and calzavara has also set up numerous activities and projects aimed at developing the processes typical of a sustainable business.

These initiatives include the establishment of an internal committee dedicated to sustainability, the drawing up of the Sustainability Plan, the setting up of a structured stakeholder engagement process and a new form of non-financial reporting with the Integrated Report.

All these projects are steering calzavara towards the future, maintaining an important bond with its employees and with the external environment.

Environment, Social and Governance: these are the fields on which calzavara’s sustainability strategy is developed, integrated into its business strategy and aimed at the pursuit of sustainable success.

calzavara has placed the concept of NGI-Towers at the centre of its strategy, around which it has defined its Sustainability Plan 2023- 2026, based on the three areas of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) commitment, in line with the provisions of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, defined in September 2015 by the governments of the 193 UN member countries, with its 17 Sustainable Development Goals and 169 targets.

Sustainability Report

Although not included among the subjects for which the drafting of a non-financial statement is mandatory, it was decided to make the commitment to promoting economic development and constant innovation in research and development, production efficiency, plant safety and environmental and social sustainability public.

The Integrated Report contains calzavara voluntary Non-Financial Statement (NFS), drawn-up on a voluntary basis in compliance with arts. 3 and 7 of Leg. Dec. 254/16 and containing information relating to environmental and, social issues, as well as information relating to personnel, the respect of human rights and the fight against corruption, as necessary for ensuring a proper understanding of the enterprise’s activities.
